A new service of eBooks is now available from Louth County Libraries, complementing the eAudio download service, from OneClickdigital, which was introduced in October 2012.

To use the service you must be a current member of Louth County Libraries and have collected your library card and PIN from any of the branch libraries.

As with eAudio Downloads, library members can set up an online account and start downloading books to their computer, phone, tablet or iPad.

These new initiatives allow library borrowers access more and more library services around the clock.

Details and links to the service are available on the library page of www.louthcoco.ie.

To find out more please ask at any branch library or telephone Dundalk Branch Library at 042-9353190.

Last November Louth County Libraries and Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) Library launched a joint service for its members, the first of its kind in the country. The new service is called 1 Card 6 Libraries. It allows members of Louth County Libraries who currently can use the five branches, Dundalk, Ardee, Carlingford, Dunleer, and Drogheda, to also use their membership card to borrow and use the services at DkIT library. The service also offers free WiFi access and study space to students in any of the branch libraries as well as free WiFi hot spots in Dundalk Town Centre.

More information on the new service may be obtained from any branch library in Louth or from the library in Dundalk Institute of Technology.
