Bellurgan house open for Easter

BELLURGAN House is opening its doors to the public on Easter Sunday for an event to suit all the family. Between the hours of 12pm and 4pm visitors will be able to visit the beautiful 18th Century Home and peruse the Garden and Woodlands. There will be a craft fair for the kids as well as organised nature walks for the kids.

According to organiser Nikki Cambell it will be a great day out, “We will have a great selection of craft & food stalls on the front lawn selling a wide range of materials from jewellery, pestos, paintings, jams, chutneys, decorations, handmade cards, and much more’.

“While for the kids we are organising woodland walks. We are really excited about launching our new nature trails on the day and the children who come along on Easter Sunday will be the first to sample the start of Bellurgan Park’s nature trails. Adults can also walk of their Easter Eggs with a stroll through the vast woodlands and take in the beautiful scenery’.

“We will also keep the kids entertained with our fun Treasure Trail Quiz. They will be able to learn about and experience the wildlife in a fun environment answering a series of nature based questions along the way.

According to Nikki the magnificent 18th Century Bellurgan Park House makes an ideal venue for coffee and crafts, “the house is a beautiful setting and we have plenty of room for stall holders to set up and sell their wares. We are also really looking forward to show casing the woodlands which are an ideal place for a country ramble.”

Visitors will be well looked after with complimentary tea/ coffee and snacks served in the main house while they relax among all the original features of this wonderful house. Light refreshments will be available for children.

To get to Bellurgan Park you take exit 18 off the M1. Take Carlingford/ Greenore exit at roundabout. The house is situated approximately 3 miles down this road on the left hand ide.
