House where Irene White's brutal murder took place torn down

The house at Ice House Hill, Dundalk.

The house at Ice House Hill Dundalk where Irene White was murdered in 2005 has been completely demolished.
Irene's body was found at the house on the Demesne Road by her mother.

She was stabbed to death in the kitchen. It was one of the country’s most brutal murders, yet no one has yet been brought to justice for the gruesome crime.


Irene’s sister Anne Delcassian has said that: “Somebody entered Irene’s home with the intention to murder her. My mother’s heart died the day she discovered Irene’s body”.
