The 10K course, which will hopefully attract the eye of the serious runner, is set in the picturesque village of Inniskeen, made famous by the poetry of Patrick Kavanagh, and will take place on Saturday 15th October at 11am.

The Camogie Club hope that the race will attract all types of runner and walker for what is sure to be a great experience.

They also decided to hold a 5K Fun Run so that everyone could take part in the activities. Participants of the 10K road race will be timed and there will be prizes for those coming first, second and third. There will be loads of spot prizes up for grabs on the day also.
