LOCAL celebrity ghoul ‘Trish the Witch’ swooped into St Oliver Plunkett’s National School and joined in the Halloween celebrations thrilling the students with a personal reading from her second self-titled book.
Trish who has visited the school for many years for Halloween was greeted by a playground full of little ghosts and witches as the junior children were invited to dress up for the occasion.
According to St. Oliver’s Speech and Drama teacher, Patricia Reynolds, Trish’s book is suitable reading for primary school children between the ages of 5 and 9 and many of her students took the opportunity to snap up a signed copy.
The book also features the winning image from Roisin Langon from St. Peter’s Primary school, Dromiskin which was picked by Trish herself from hundreds of school entries.
