St Peter’s nursing home on award list
ST Peter’s Nursing Home Castlebellingham has once again been recognised for its high professional standards.
The nursing home was short-listed for the Q Mark Irish Nursing Home of the Year Award which it won outright last year.
The state-of-the art purpose built home has 39 rooms look out on a garden scene.
All rooms are private en-suite and there are three double rooms.
There are daily activities such as bingo, song and dance, games, quizzes, gentle exercise and classic films.
There is also an oratory on the premises.
As well as spacious private rooms, there are a number of large sitting rooms, so if residents aren’t interested in one activity, they can go off and relax somewhere else.
St. Peter’s provides long-term, respite, and convalescent care and caters for residents with dementia.
The convalescence and post-operative care helps individuals with recuperation and recovery after illness.
