Springer Spaniel Shona does her bit for charity
Joanne's Springer Spaniel Shona with all the food Joanne donated to the Dundalk Dog Rescue
Dundalk dog trainer Joanne Byrne, who runs Problem Paws, generously donated 30kg of dog food to the Dundalk Dog Rescue last week all thanks to Facebook.
Canine behaviourist Joanne has over 14 years professional experience with dogs and has worked in London and Australia.
Joanne posted a photo of her dog Shona to her Problem Paws Facebook page last week to celebrate her page receiving over 1,000 likes.
Attached to the photo was the following heart melting message from Springer Spaniel Shona.
“My mum said if I get 1,000 ‘likes’, she will donate 30kg of food to Dundalk Dog Rescue.”
It didn’t take long for the ‘likes’ to start rolling in and the photo of Shona was amazingly shared over 600 times by Facebook users.
By the end of the day the adorable photograph had received nearly 2,000 ‘likes’ and Joanne was delighted with the response.
“A massive thank you for all the likes for my picture of my little star Shona, due to all the extra likes not only am I going to donate 30kg of food, I will also donate 3kg of treats. I hope the dogs like them.”
