Revenue seize 126 grams of cocaine in Dundalk raid

Officers from Revenue and Customs and armed Gardai stormed a drugs den in Dundalk and have recovered 126 grams of “coke”.

As part of an intelligence-led, joint operation between Revenue’s Customs Service and An Garda Síochána, 126 grammes of cocaine with an estimated street value of approximately EUR8,800 was seized at an address in Dundalk, Co. Louth.

The seizure was the result of a controlled delivery of a package originating in Brazil.

A 47-year-old Nigerian male was arrested and detained at Dundalk Garda Station under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
