Pulse Pacemaker to feature on Ireland AM

LOCAL boutique Pulse Pacemaker will be representing Louth on national television next month when it takes part of the battle of the counties fashion series on TV3's Ireland AM.

Store manager Suzi English will appear on the popular morning programme on Thursday August 5 when Pulse Pacemaker will go head to head with another woman's fashion outlet from a different county.

The Park Street store will showcase three different outfits before viewers are asked to vote for their favourite by voting in.

It remains to be seen how Pulse Pacemaker will do but with top brands including Gerry Weber, Oky Coky, FeeG and Olsen – to name but a few – Suzi insists she is just looking forward to showing off the store's new autumn/winter collection.

"We're delighted to be involved," she said. "You can't buy this type of exposure. It's very exciting.

"Basically we'll show three outfits and then I'll talk about each of them. Once they've all been shown people will text in to vote for their favourites."

Suzi admitted that she had not chosen the three outfits she would be using for the show just yet but said they would be coming from the store's autumn/winter collection and would entail a "mix of different looks."

For now Suzi and her staff are simply delighted to be involved in the show at all.

"TV3 rang us up to see would we be interested and we just jumped at the opportunity.

"It's great for us and for Dundalk as well. We've been in business over 35 years and we're very lucky to have so many loyal customers but we have quite a few from further afield as well and this will give us a chance to showcase our products to them."
