Project X Ardee took over Luna nightclub last Friday night

It was not your usual Friday night in Ardee town as 8 DJs delighted the crowds that gathered in Luna

“The sole purpose of the event was to try keep young people in Ardee and give them a fun night out and create a good atmosphere around town. We wanted to host something different from the usual Saturday night.”

There was a bucket collection on the night in aid of the Ardee Daycare Centre and €362.50 was raised for the worthy cause.

The Project X crew made sure everything ran smoothly on the night and included Fiona O’Brien, Paudy Healy, Tony Farrell, James Delaney, Shauna Martin, Dean McCarron, Stephen Gillespie and Natasha Cleary.

Danny Farrell, Shane Mulholland and Gerry McQuillan who make up local band ‘The Trends’ also performed on the night, with Carrickmacross DJ Scotty Severe.

Other DJ’s from Newry and Dundalk also delighted the crowds on the night as well as Ardee’s own elite, DJ Stiffy, Joey Faye and Conor Farrell.

Dave O Reilly who has worked with Lisa lashes, Scott Project and John O’Callaghan headlined.

Mark would like to thank everyone for showing their support for the event and hopes to organise another successful night in the near future.
