One of Europe’s biggest music stars, Professor Green, will headline the St Patrick’s Day concert at The Fairways Hotel, Dundalk.

Local revellers will be delighted that genre-crossing rapper will perform a full set of hits, including the hugely popular singles ‘Read All About It’, ‘Jungle’, and ‘Just Be Good To Green’.

The announcement comes just a week after X-Factor band District 3 performed at the hotel.

Jonny Brown, promoter of the event, said “The intimate show gives everyone in attendance the perfect opportunity to witness one of music’s most in-demand artists up close and personal on the biggest party day of the year.”

Meanwhile iRadio’s Simon Murdoch will be the support on the night.

Professor Green first shot to stardom in 2010 after touring with Lilly Allen and being signed to Virgin Records.

In 2011 Professor Green released his second album At Your Inconvenience. The album contained tracks including ‘How Many Moons’, ‘Remedy’, and the smash hit Number 1 single ‘Read All About It’ featuring the vocal talents of Emeli Sandé.

Mel Brown, business and entrainment manager at the Fairways Hotel says that the star will be a hit with the younger generation.

“Professor Green is well-known in the music industry,” said Mel. “All the young generation know him. We expect it to be a great preformance.

“There will be entertainment throughout the day on St Patrick’s Day and this concert will top it all off.”
