American actor and comedian Michael Winslow who is dubbed “The Man of 10,000 Sound Effects” will be performing in the Spirit Store this Friday, February 8. Doors will open at 8pm.

Tickets cost 20 euro and are available online at spiritstore.ie or from the Spirit Store itself.

Michael is best known for his Police Academy performances.

After ‘Police Acamedy’ he went on to play a part in Mel Brooks ‘Spaceballs’. This film set him apart as a unique comedian. A man with a special talent that made “families” laugh.

Michael was also heard, but not seen, when he gave the voice to Stripe, the evil little creature, in another Hit Movie ‘Gremlins’.

He also did voice-overs for Disney and Universal Studios in such rides as ‘Back to the Future’ and ‘Terminator’ as well as television tits ‘Robo Chicken’ and ‘Family Guy’.

Michael is a master of vocal gymnastics and can imitate over 1000 sound effects using his voice alone.
