The team from the PC Repair Centre have made it their new year’s resolution to educate the people of Dundalk.

The team will be running another free workshop called ‘Good to Know’ on Saturday January 26, at their business in Unit 10, Blackthorn Business Park.

The first workshop took place on a Saturday afternoon in July 2012 and offered tips and advice to users about how to stay safe online and provided parents with tools to help them choose, what content their children see online.

The workshop was a great success so the team have decided to go ahead with another workshop and the topic this time will be ‘How to back up your computer data’.

“The motivation behind the workshop is to educate and answer some of the more common questions we receive from customers when they visit us.

“We will educate users into keeping their important files, such as photos, safe from data loss.

“We will be including how to backup to both local devices, cloud and discussing what the best options are for each attendee

“Good IT house-keeping is crucial to keeping your PC secure and your system running at peak performance.”

The PC Repair Centre will have a team of technicians presenting on the day and the course runs from 9am - 10.30am.

Location is in their office’s in Unit 10 at the Blackthorn Business Park.
