Established in Dundalk in 1985, Horseware Ireland is the equestrian world’s leading supplier of horse clothing, caring for valuable bloodstock and sport horses worldwide. This year the company will turnover close to w30 million.

“The rapid growth of our business in USA, UK and Continental Europe, and the need for world class speed of response has convinced us to consolidate all our warehousing into one large 100,000 sq foot state of the art facility, proudly located here in Dundalk. This is a significant strategic step for Horseware,” said Horseware Ireland CEO Tom MacGuinness.

While the company is vertically integrated, with plants in China, Cambodia and the USA, the Irish HQ manufactures the Company’s higher value products, and is the centre of all R&D, design, marketing and administration. The equine sector is one of few indigenous areas where Ireland has an international competitive advantage. The nation is world renowned for breeding and producing quality horses. Enterprise Ireland has designated the entire equine sector as one of high export potential.
