Most expensive property on offer at REA Group Auction

The former Convent of Mercy at Seatown Place will be up for sale at the upcoming REA Group Auction and is the most expensive property on offer with a reserve not to exceed w250,000.

The auction will be held on the 5th of March in the O’Callaghan Alexander Hotel in Dublin at 12 noon.

The property comprises an imposing three storey building over basement along Seatown Place together with a detached four storey building facing on to Castle Road.

The existing buildings cover in excess of 20,000 Sq Ft and are set on c.0.75 Acres.

The auction is expected to attract a broad mix of buyers including those looking for good commercial business opportunities and also those hoping to secure a residential bargain.

Residential properties for sale include a mix of houses and apartments from right across Ireland.

There are also some strong opportunities for first time buyers, or those looking to renovate a property.

According to Philip Farrell, Sales Manager of Real Estate Alliance,

“There has been strong response since the auction’s announcement and judging by the level of interest from buyers to date, it is evident that purchasers have been more active since the turn of the year and we expect a large attendance on the day.”

Those bidding will need to have their finance in place with a 10% deposit being payable on the day with accepted bids being legally binding on the day.
