Morga to play at Dundalk Gaol
Mórga (meaning Majestic) are a talented four-piece traditional music high energy ensemble, based on the great bands of the 1970’s.
They are based around the well-known tradition of fiddle and accordion duet, with backing provided by the bodhran and Greek bouzouki. Add the banjo to this mix and you have a fearsome cocktail! Now they’re back with the addition of the legendary David Munnelly (who hails from Belmullet) on accordion in place of founder-member Barry Brady This is a fantastic opportunity to hear some of the most dynamic musicians currently playing the traditional scene.
