McArdle Meats scoops Best Shopping Centre Butcher shop in Ireland at Ireland Star Shop Awards
Mc Ardle Meats store in the Marshes recently achieved a top accolade for being the Best Butcher Shop in a Shopping Centre in Ireland.
The Associated Craft Butchers of Ireland Star Shop Awards were announced at the SHOP Show held recently in the RDS in Dublin recently.
Mc Ardle Meats fought off stiff competition to win the award as the company continually expands its repertoire of awards for quality stores, service and products.
Mc Ardle Meats Charlestown store was placed in the Top 10 Butcher Shops in Ireland while their local Clanbrassil Street Store was placed in the Top 20.
A fantastic achievement to have all 3 stores placed in the listing of Top 20 Butcher Shops in Ireland.
Mc Ardle Meats also won many product awards at the SHOP show most notably for it’s Easy Cook Sunday Roasts and Honey & Mustard Ham both of which are available fresh in all of their stores daily.
The Mc Ardle Meats Homemade Lasagne also won a Silver Medal in the Ready to Heat Category of the ACBI Speciality Food Awards.
This broad spread of awards won by the local company recently affirms their attention to quality and detail in all of their product lines.
Mc Ardle Meats Creamy Garlic Potatoes were also recently awarded a Bronze Medal at the Blas na hEireann Irish Food Awards in the extremely competitive Ready Meals Category.
McArdle Meats is owned by Keith Shortt, a third generation butcher. McArdle Meats was established over 50 years ago in Dundalk,
Keith started working for McArdle Meats at the tender age of sixteen and after three years working there the opportunity arose to purchase the business.
In 2001, Keith armed with a wealth of experience and family recipes handed down through generations took over the Clanbrassil Street store located in Dundalk.
Over the years Mc Ardle Meats has grown and now has four stores located on Clanbrassil Street, The Marshes Shopping Centre, Charlestown Shopping Centre, Dublin and Blackrock, Dundalk
