Rob was voted Irelands hottest man by Her.ie readers last week

Louth sports star Rob Kearney has been voted Ireland’s hottest man by Her.ie readers in an online poll.

The rugby star from Cooley narrowly beat Niall Breslin to the top spot.

Two thousand Her.ie readers had their say and 30 per cent of them wanted to get to grips with our Louth man.

Rob told Her.ie that he was “very flatter” by his new title and but joked that it was clearly ladies from his home county of Louth responsible.

Unfortunately though ladies, Rob is taken and is currently dating British actress Susie Amy.

Bressie was close behind with 25 percent of the readers vote while Liam Neeson received 19 per cent of the vote.

Surprisingly Hollywood stars Michael Fassbender and Colin Farrell came in fourth and fifth place.

2012 has been a good year for Rob as he was named ERC European Player of the Year in May.

The 26 year old was selected in the Ireland squad for the 2012 Six Nations Championship and named in the starting team to play Wales in the opening match.

He played in all the other games in which Ireland finished 3rd on the table in the Six nations 2012.

Although unfortunately he is currently suffering with a back injury.
