Inspiring mother loses over 3 stone

A local mother of four has lost over three stone in weight in one year since joining slimming organisation Unislim.
Ann Marie Bellew, who is from Bay Estate, was also pregnant and gave birth to her fourth child during the year yet amazingly she still managed to lose 44 pounds.
Dundalk Unislim class leader Mary McArdle says that Ann Marie is a great inspiration to all women especially mothers, who want to lose weight.
“Ann Marie’s story is great and very inspiring”, said Mary, “So many women are trying to lose weight and when you are pregnant you are under even more pressure.
“It was great to see Ann Marie coming each week and take that bit of time to do something for herself.
“She is very dedicated and when the group met up for the first time after Christmas she was the only one who had managed to lose weight.”
Even after having her baby the mother of four still did not miss a class.
“She only missed two classes throughout the whole year”, explained Mary,
“She had her baby on a Sunday and was back in class the following Thursday with baby in tow.”
Ann Marie gave birth to a 9lb 2 baby girl called Emily Rose at the start of February and Mary said that she will never be stuck for a babysitter.
Mary says that now is the perfect time to drop into a unislim class. “Give it up for Lent and by Easter you’ll wonder where it went!”
Classes are held in the Imperial Hotel on Tghursdays at 8.30am, 10.30am and 5.30pm.
