Go Dundalk launches exciting competition
The Go Dundalk teams within St Vincent’s Secondary school, CBS Primary school and Castletown Girls National School are running a Smarter Travel competition over the next four weeks. These prizes will be awarded to the students who walk / cycle / park n stride to / from school during the competition period. Each time a student walks / cycles / parks ‘n’ strides to / from school, they will receive a raffle ticket so the more they use sustainable travel to / from school, the more chances they have of winning!
The schools will be encouraging students to participate as often as they can, to be in with a chance of winning a brand new bicycle with cycling resources.
The prize-winners will be selected when the winning raffle tickets will be drawn from all the entries and the prize-giving will take place in mid-February.
The Department of Transport, Tourism & Sport, through the Go Dundalk Smarter Travel Project, have funded this competition.
