Get creative spark for Spring workshops

Creative Spark has launched its series of Spring Workshops beginning next week on February 25.

The courses are a great way for people to get their new year off to a creative start and for kids and teens to make new friends and spend time with each other.

All courses will run for 12 weeks and the cost is 120 euros for adults and 100 euros for kids and teens with a 50 per cent reduction for the unemployed or OAPs.

They are offering courses in Beginners and Intermediate Photography, Ceramics, Creative Writing and Printmaking for Adults and for children and under 15’s there is Fabric Crafts, Ceramics and Creative Writing.

For those interested in Drama and over the age of 15, there is a new drama project starting on Thursday, February 21, from 6.30 – 8.30pm and running for 12 weeks.

During this time the group will devise a drama around the history of the Battle of the Boyne which will be performed at the end of the project in June.

Also, here’s a chance to brush up on your drawing skills with untutored life drawing sessions every Wednesday evening from 7 – 8.30pm for €2.
