The festival will take place at the Grove House Dunleer and all proceeds from this event will go towards next year’s Saint Patrick’s Day Parade.

“We are all really looking forward to it, “said committee member Louise Clarke.

“It is a great weekend of fun and entertainment and it is a great way for the business’s in Dunleer to promote themselves.

“All contestants must be over 18.”

The entertainment will start on the Saturday night and will be provided by a number of local artists.

Electric Avenue will provide the entertainment on the Sunday night leading up to the winner of the Dunleer Rose 2012.

There are a number of wonderful prizes for the winner of the competition including a beautiful tiara and a sum of cash.

Last year’s winner Sarah McCarville will hand over the beautiful tiara.

“I would like to thank all of our sponsors and the people of Dunleer and surrounding areas for their help and support,” said Louise.

“Without them this wonderful event wouldn’t have been possible.”

“Tickets are available from the Grove House at a cost of €10. For more information email: louiseclarke@live.com.
