Don’t miss ‘Beauty and the Beast’ panto

Gavin Quigley and Born 2 Perform Productions are putting the final touches to their second annual pantomime, ‘Beauty and The Beast’.

This laugh-out loud production will take place in the Nuremore Hotel in Carrickmacross from Wednesday 6th to Saturday 9th February and is definitely a show not to be missed.

Big dreamer and book-loving Belle (Orla Sheridan) lives in a small provincial town with her erratic inventor father Maurice (Eamon McCabe) and is unwillingly pursued by the egotistical Gaston (Tony Sheridan) much to the dismay of his adoring fans and idiotic sidekick Twat (Kevin Dardis).

However, when Maurice ends up in an enchanted castle, Belle gives up her freedom for his release and becomes a prisoner to the wicked Beast (Dermot Boylan).

With the friendly assistance of Nursey, Nibbles and Dinks (Thomas Doherty, Ronan Hughes & Louise Steele), Belle starts to feel at home in the castle but can the rejected Gaston and his gang, with the help of the sinister Amadus (Cillian Cromwell), spoil everything?

This fantastic script was written by West End star Killian Donnelly, who has written hilarious panto scripts for the Olympia Theatre and Cork Opera House and who also stars in the much acclaimed Les Miserables movie.

With side splitting gags, magnificent sets and costumes, a hilariously maniacal chase, the latest hits and dazzling dance routines from the talented Born 2 Perform students, this pantomime is a must for all ages and is sure to leave you smiling and bopping in your seat.

As well as boasting a top class cast, ‘Beauty and the Beast’ also showcases the talents of over 300 children from Carrickmacross, Kingscourt, Ardee, Castleblayney and Monaghan Town.

Tickets for this ‘must-see’ production are a steal at only 10 euro .

Very few left for Wednesday and Thursday night with Friday and Saturday almost completely gone.

Remaining tickets are available from Hughes Coffee Shop, Cutz n Curls Hair Salon (both in Carrickmacross) or by ringing 0877467281.
