Des Bishop set to return to Boggers

Des Bishop returns to Ardee Laughs at Boggers bar this Sunday, October 14, with his ‘Likes to Bang’ national tour.

Bishop’s famously warm, honest presenting style and restless imagination will be in evidence again as he combines his love of hip hop, strong jokes, audience participation and a newfound passion for drumming,

Des’ new show has sold out across the country.

“It’s going to be a bit silly, a bit musical and a bit improvised”, says Des.

The title comes from being given an electronic drum kit as a gift recently.

“I started messing around with it and ended up behind a set on stage. It went really well, so I’ve put together a comedy show with a bit of rhythm in it.”

Tickets for the show are on sale now for e20 from the venue or www.boggerslounge.com

Support comes from Savage Eye’s Tommy Nicholson while Alan Gernon of RTE radio returns as MC.

Doors open at 6:30pm and the show kicks off at 7pm.
