Cuchulainn support Irish Cyclo Cross Championships
Cuchulainn Cc are proud to promote the Irish Cyclo Cross championships on Sunday January 13, in Muirhevnamor. All kicks off at 12 midday and a 2012 open racing license is accepted.
This is a fantastic undulating parkland with technical woodland and fast tarmac sections and Johnny Mc Cabe has designed the course to be exciting and challenging.
This will be hopefully the first of many open events in Muirhevnamor Park, as Cuchulauinn is working hard with the local council to develop it as a cycling park.
Due to the growing popularity of the event, Cuchulainn will also promote a support event, to give those a race not in contention for the Championship event and want to smooth out the grass.
The event will be strictly pre-entry on the clubs on line facility. Shower, car parking, sign on and changing facilities are all on site.
There will also be a short, timed skills course to find out the best bike handler in Ireland along with tea and coffee.
5 slots are remaining for Independent Bike Shops to come and show their wears to the eager supporters.
