Legendary singer/song writer Christy Moore is coming to the Dundalk and will give a rare public performance in The Fairways Hotel on Friday May 17.

Fans are urged to buy them tickets quickly as the singer has recently cut back on the number of concerts he plays each year. and tickets are bound to sell out fast.

Christy is an Irish folk singer, songwriter, and guitarist and is well known as one of the founding members of Planxty and Moving Hearts.

His solo style includes driving rhythms on guitar and bodhrán as well as slower ballads.

In 2007, he was named as Ireland’s greatest living musician in RTÉ’s People of the Year Awards.

His latest album Folk Tale is available on the Irish music website IrishCountry.ie

Tickets cost 40 euro and are available from the Fairways Hotel reception, News & Deli on Park Street or through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.ie

Doors will open at 7pm and Christy will be live on stage at 8pm. There will be no interval and no support act.
