Blackrock Vintage boutique featured on TV3’s Xpose

BLACKROCK based Vintage Boutique After Sybil was recently featured on TV3’s Xpose, chosen from an array of quality Nationwide shops to represent the current Mad Men fashion trend.

Following a visit with After Sybil’s Aine Corcoran, the shows researchers were suitably impressed with her wonderful collection of vintage pieces from shoes to handbags, dresses and coats.

The shoot, which was aiming to help modern women to inject some 60’s style into their wardrobes, was based on the extremely glamorous women from the smash hit TV series Mad Men and was suitably filmed in the glamorous Vintage Cocktail Club in Temple Bar.

TV3 Stylist Irene O’Brien chose to show a beautiful selection of dresses, faux fur pieces and vintage accessories from the After Sybil collection, describing the pieces with words like ‘incredibly sexy’, ‘feminine’, ‘girly’, ‘fun’ and ‘stylish’.

Aine Corcoran from After Sybil said,: “It was great to be selected to promote that iconic fashion trend of Mad Men which is influencing all the fashion houses and designers season after season. Based on them seeing my work and putting my clothes together at various Dublin Shows I was selected to be on their fashion panel as a stylist which was fantastic.’

‘It was really brilliant when they approached me to use After Sybil for this feature. It showed their confidence in After Sybil and in me. In addition to this the Xpose programme and presenters are very prudent and price conscious so it was brilliant that they chose to promote these original vintage pieces as ‘Value Per Wear’ investment pieces, as they say it makes sense, and you simply cannot beat them for the style, panache and uniqueness’.

For business woman Aine it was high praise indeed to be selected from a choice of Dublin based and Nationwide shops.

“Xpose very rarely come out of Dublin given that they usually have everything they need right on their own Dublin doorstep so I was very pleasantly surprised for them to make the trip up to Blackrock and they were very impressed in fact to quote them “away with After Sybil as well as our gorgeous village. It was nice to put Blackrock on the fashion map …. So now its London, Paris, New York, Blackrock and rightly so!”
