The ‘Talks in Schools’ programme will be delivered to secondary school pupils throughout the country promoting positive interventions by witnesses of online bullying situations and appropriate coping strategies for victims.

Titled ‘Connect with Respect, this new module of the Garda Schools Programme aims to change the attitude of bystanders to make them more likely to intervene positively and effectively in online bullying situations. It also aims to help students to understand the impact that cyber bullying can have on different people, and to recognise that cyber bullying is not acceptable.
