Smiles Dental plan local outlet

Ireland’s largest privately owned dental chain have plans for to build an outlet in Dundalk.

The company who have just been bought out by Oasis Healthcare, have 77 outlets in Britain and Ireland.

The company have revealed that one of their new stores is to be developed in Dundalk.

Smiles Dental was co-founded by Dr Hugh Bradley, who started a orthodontist on Park Street.

Dr. Bradley opened a specialist practice in orthodontics in Newry in 1982 and before opening the Dundalk outlet in 1983.

Smiles Dental was founded in 2005 and now employs 350 dentists and 650 other staff.

Co-founder of the business, businessman Emmet O’Neil, told the Irish Times this week that he planned to open a new outlet in Dundalk, as well as near the Marker Hotel in Dublin.

To date hey have 17 clinics nationwide, with every aspect of dentistry provided.

They already have an outlet in Drogheda.
