Popular cafe to open Dundalk premises

Popular cafe chain Relish are planning on opening their fourth premises this August in Dundalk.

The new cafe will be situated in the Georgian building, 1 Jocelyn Street, the former home of both Mizu Cafe and Riva Townhouse.

The first cafe was opened by Denise Walsh in Bettystown in 2007 and celebrated it’s seventh birthday last week.

Denise opened the restaurant after having sold her cafe in Drogheda where she was in business for ten years.

The cafe are known for their amazing food, friendly staff and the eatery is extremely popular in Drogheda and Bettystown.

Relish’s aim is to focus on a vibrant local community and produce uncomplicated foods using local suppliers and seasonal ingredients.

The cafe has grown since it was first opened in 2007 and has developed locally into three branches.

The second branch opened at Southgate, Drogheda in July 2011 and the third branch opened at the Highlanes Gallery in July 2012.

The Highlanes Gallery also features a delicatessen, where it is possible to buy many of the local ingredients used in the cafes.​
