THERE was a large turnout for the launch of not one, but two books by Ardee and Stabannon woman Patricia Reynolds at McCabe’s Showrooms Ardee.

Patricia Reynolds (nee McCabe) is married to Michael and lives in Stabannon with their two sons Alan and Patrick.

Patricia has written a novel, Wrapped in Hope, and also a beautiful book of poems and photographs entitled Inside Out, which she calls a companion book to her novel.

Both the novel and its elegant companion are books of hope and inspiration and should prove very popular. Both books were launched by Sean Gallagher.

This is a writer who sees the extraordinary in the ordinary, someone who marvels at the miracle of being alive.

She thanked Eanna Ni Lamhna for reading the manuscript. Eanna described the novel as ‘a real page turner, written with a keen awarreness of and deep feeling for the natural environment. She also thanked John O’Neill for proofreading the book.

She thanked her husband Michael, her sons Alan and Patrick. Her parents, mother-in-law Sheila. Lisa for being the face of Abigail on the front cover of Inside Out.

Marcelina and harriette for thaking the time to read the manuscript. Anna and Mary. Also her brothers who have always listened to her ‘mad ideas’.

She thanked Rose who pushed her to meet her dream. Her cousin Catherine, friends Sarah and Deirdre, and her publishers The Universal Publishing Group.

As he launched the book, Mr Sean Gallagher said people are the authors of their own lives.

“Life is a gift you have been given and it is important that you do not die with your song still in you,” he said. “With these books Patrice has begun to sing her song.”
