Fionnuala crowned Miss Louth 2014

Dundalk girl Fionnuala Shortt has been crowned Miss Louth 2014 and will now go on to contest Miss Ireland.

After an intensive interview process the two finalists were decided from group of enthusiastic young woman.

Fionnuala Short will go on to the Miss Ireland final.

The Dundalk native will be representing Dundalk and Louth in Dublin next month. Dundalk Fm also announced that Fionnuala is the new face of Dundalk Fm as they are her main sponsor.

While Lisa Casey will go on to a semi-finalist stage next month, Lisa will represent Mise Beauty Dundalk.

Both girls will equally contribute to both key sponsors and their respective charities. Fionnuala and Lisa are extremely passionate about raising awareness for Breast Cancer prevention and mental health. Dundalk FM are the main sponsor and Geraldine Kieran was a judge on the night: “The station is looking forward to working with both ladies over the coming weeks. We hope to get the girls in to talk about their experiences and final preparations for Miss Ireland competition. Dundalk Fm will also help them to raise awareness for their charities.”
