Belles Tea Rooms in Blackrock have announced that they will be opening a new premises in Dundalk in the new year.

The business, which is run by Mark and Michelle McCumiskey, celebrated it’s second birthday last week and has been going from strength to strength since it first opened it’s doors in 2011.

“Belles Tea Rooms would sincerely like to thank all our customers for all their support,” said the couple.

“We will be trading as usual from Main Street, Blackrock and in the new year Park Street, Dundalk.

“We look forward to seeing you in our new shop real soon.”

The cafe has proven to be a popular hotspot for both locals and visitors who flock to the seaside cafe every week to sample their delicious cakes and buns.

At the end of May this year the business also opened a new extension up stairs to accommodate additional customers.

Staff are already being recruited for the new cafe and there are various full time and part time positions available including chef, baristas, waiting staff and bakers.
