Louth County Childare Committee Ltd (LCCC) have said they are looking at the possibility of installing a new childcare provide at the Mulaharin facility.
The facility, formerly run by Ages and Stages, was built in 2006 and is in excellent condition, with nearly €1 million of taxpayers’ money being spent on the purpose built creche.
In a statement issued by Claire Woods of LCCC, she stawtes: “Louth County Childcare Committee (LCCC) is working with the Board of Management of Ages and Stages Creche to ensure that Parents of children who attend the facility are supported at this time.
“To this end the LCCC staff area at hand to support parents to source alternative childcare arrangements.
“LCCC are also working with POBAL, to identify possible locally based community childcare facilities, to enter into discussions in respect to opening a new childcare facility using the Mullaharlin Park facilities as soon as possible.
