A fantastic showcase of original Dundalk bands will take place this Easter Sunday in The Market Bar on Clanbrassil Street.

The line-up consists of local acts The Curtain Thieves, RichardRichard, Catalyst and DJ Federal.

Catalyst, an exciting new 5 piece Indie-Rock band, formed by members of The Swivelled Fall and Manifesto, are set to open the night.

Catalyst will be followed by one of Dundalk’s growing favourites, RichardRichard.

This band has taken the town by storm with their fresh Indie/Dance sound.

They have been compared to Vampire Weekend by GoldenPlec magazine, who described their recent performance at The Spirit Store, as “solid, if not spectacular”.

The Curtain Thieves, armed with their “ballsy, wig out rock’n’roll, belted out with a sugar coating of pop melodies”, are set to headline the night.

The band, who have recently been signed to indie label ‘Ruby Music’, have been consistently touring the country over the past two years, making a name for themselves and growing in popularity, with catchy singles such as Only in the Night and Animal.

The band is preparing to launch their new single Avocado in the coming summer.

Admission to the event is free and music will begin at 9.30pm.
