A County Monaghan man, Kevin McKernan (41) of Black Island View, Castleblayney denies the unlawful killing of Errol Dunne, a 25 year-old fisherman from Clogherhead on March 9th 2010.

It was stated that the charge arose out of an incident two days prior at the Harbour Bar, Clogherhead.

Mr Dunne resided at Grangebellew and was originally from O’Donnell Park, Clogherhead.

The jury was sworn in yesterday (Tuesday) after which one member was excused and replaced by a newly sworn juror.
