“I am delighted by this announcement which is great news for Louth. One hundred-and-twenty-five people and their families will significantly benefit from this announcement, as will the general Louth area.

“The northeast has fantastic potential for international web based companies and the region can and will continue to attract and retain high value foreign direct investment. Paypal’s international operations centre in Dundalk which opened in July of this year and which will create 1,000 jobs is a case in point. I am confident that the region can continue to grow as a hub for the high tech sector.

“Creating an environment for job creation is the primary focus of this Government. Nextag’s decision to create new vacancies is a strong endorsement of Ireland’s reputation as a leading location for the international business information products and services sector,” he said.
