The third annual Down Syndrome Ireland Benefit night was held at Dundalk Stadium on Saturday night along with 9 other greyhound tracks around Ireland.

The family fun night was a great success with plenty of children taking the opportunity to enjoy the indoor activity area set up especially for the event. Goody bags were handed out to all children in attendance, which were accepted with great delight! Irish dancers entertained the crowd in between the greyhound races and there were lots of raffle prizes up for grabs!

Clare Leonard the President of Down Syndrome Ireland was delighted with the event and enjoyed the evening immensely with her son Richard. Kevin Hampson Louth Meath Branch Treasurer and Brendan Stephenson Louth Meath Branch Secretary were kept busy all night organizing the raffle and other activities but were very pleased with the funds raised on the night and through the ticket sales.

Dundalk Stadium looks forward to many more nights like it in the future and hope that the events continues to be an annual event.
