Dundalk singer/songwriter Sinead McNally will perform at this year’s Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Co Laois, as part of Conor Quinn’s band.
Conor featured in last years series of ‘The Voice’ and recently asked Sinead to help with the recording of his EP ‘Golden Kids’ by playing keyboards in his band.
“What a year to perform at Electric Picnic,” said Sinead, “as you may know I am working with last years Voice of Ireland finalist Conor Quinn, playing keys and performing bv’s in the band and our first official announcement is that we are performing at this years festival.
“To say I am excited is an understatement!”
The Knockbridge singer is also due to perform live at the very exciting ‘Women Who Rock’ event in Bewleys Cafe Theatre, in Dublin, this Friday May 3.
The event will feature five of Ireland’s finest female singer/songwriters covering genres from rock, blues, pop and folk music.
Sinead has been chosen as one of five ambitious young women, who each have an incredible list of musical experience and success.
Each will bring their own unique styles of song-writing and performing to the stage to showcase all that is great about Ireland’s female artists.
Other acts that will perform are Rachael McCormack, Corrina Jaye, Sinead White and Clara Rose.
It promises to be a great start to the bank holiday weekend and tickets cost only 5 euros.
Concert starts at 8pm.
