She was delighted to have won the award.

“I am so thrilled to have won Fashion Designer of the Year 2013 at the Irish Fashion Innovation Awards”, the former Dun Lughaidh pupil exclaimed.

“I’m honoured to have won such a prestigious award and would like to give a special thanks to Eddie Shanahan, Patricia McCrossan and Lisa Brady.

“This show is a fantastic event and great night out for all in Irish fashion. Thanks again to all - just getting over the shock now!”
