Minister for State for the Department of Transport paid a flying visit to both Stapleton Place and Chapel Street in Dundalk to view with his own eyes the work that has been carried out.

Minister Kelly was an invite of local Labour Senator Mary Moran, who accompanied Min Kelly throughout this whistle stop tour of Dundalk.

At Stapleton Place Minister Kelly spoke to local residents who were less then impressed when their road has a cycle lanes put in place, moving their parking into the middle of the street and destroying what was a traditional Georgian boulevard.

Minister Kelly also visited Chapel St, which also has had cycle lanes constructed, which again have also proved controversial for local businesses and residents alike.
