Jedmania hits Dundalk as large queues formed outside Dundalk Town Hall last Friday
As the Grimes twins were preparing to jet off on their Eurovision campaign on Friday last, Jedmania was hitting Dundalk as queues formed outside Dundalk Town Hall, just one of the outlets alongside Carrolls Book Shop, Park Street and Ticketmaster, selling tickets for the open air concert on Sunday, June 10.
Promoter Stewart Agnew, said tickets continue to sell fast for the concert at which Jedward will be supported by X Factor’s Lloyd Daniels, Dundalk’s own Funky Feet, Ryan Dolan, Simon O’Driscoll, Conor C and Nino.
Speaking on the swift ticket sales Stewart said: “I knew we had come up with a concert that was going to be very popular but to hear of people waiting for the Town Hall Box Office to open was amazing.
“Jedward are now in Europe to begin their quest for Eurovision success and fingers crossed, we could have them arriving in Dundalk as Eurovision winners.
“Add to that the fact that their recent release for the ISPCC “Put your Green Cape on” is sure to get the crowd going in the run up to Ireland’s first Euro 2012 match that night, and you have all the ingredients for the best Jedward concert ever.”
Tickets for Jedward priced at €18.50 each with €60 family tickets also available (each family ticket must include one adult) are available from Ticketmaster, Dundalk Town Hall and Carrolls Book Shop, Park Street
