RehabCare have come up with a fantastic and positive idea to generate funds and awareness for the resource centre.

RehabCare is a group of adults with intellectual disabilities from RehabCare Resource centre in Dundalk and they want to put on their very own fashion show.

“Its going to be classy, cool and colourful but we need help,” drama coordinator Sandy Sneddon said.

“We want to work with local businesses, media, schools, colleges and community groups to show what a great place Dundalk.”

Sandy explained that they wish to hold the fashion show at the end of June in the Marshes shopping centre, the Square or somewhere spacious.

“Local shops can help out with the style, hairdressers and barbers can us look gorgeous, the radio and the papers can spread the word, schools and colleges can help with the design.

“Everyone can come together to make it a fun project and great day out.

“It will be great publicity for all the groups and businesses involved and be used to generate funds and awareness for charity.

If you think you can help and would like to get involved please contact RehabCare resource centre on 042-9328766 or call Sandy Sneddon on 086-1290936.
