Dundalk Institute of Technology is holding it’s open day on Friday, 17 and Saturday, 18 October.
The institute has earned a reputation as the leading higher education provider in the north east over the years.
The Friday open day is an ideal opportunity for sixth years, fifth years, transition years as well as all prospective students, parents, teachers and guidance counsellors.
All are welcome to visit the institute between 10am and 3pm where you can discover more about going to college, immerse yourself in campus life, meet lecturers and current students, and find out more about what programmes are on offer and the facilities which exist in DkIT.
The event is packed full of activities so it is recommended that people come early to get the most from their visit.
On arrival everyone is asked to make their way to PJ Carrolls Building.
The Saturday open day will take place from 10am to 1pm and is targeted towards mature students, people thinking of returning to education and/or prospective second level students and family members who are unable to attend Friday open day.
The day will consist of a series of talks, tours of the campus, course information sessions and an opportunity to meet lecturing staff.
Talks start at 10am, 11am and 12 noon in the Whitaker Lecture Theatre.
The course information sessions will take place at 10.15am, 11.15am , 12.15pm.
