Due to popular demand the spirit Store have added a second date for Dublin rock band The Riptide Movement whose first show on 3 October has sold out.

The Dublin foursome will also play a show with special guests Valentino Is Dead on Thursday, 16 October with tickets on sale now at €17.50.

It has been a rollercoaster couple of years for the Dublin foursome, with a deal with Universal, rave reviews, fantastic album sales and even supporting The Rolling Stones and playing Glastonbury.

The band comprises of Malachy Tuohy on lead vocals and guitar, Gerard McGarry on bass, harmonica and vocals, JPR Dalton on lead guitar and Gar Byrne on drums, percussion and vocals.

The band’s third studio album Getting Through’ went straight in at number one in the Irish albums chart on the first week of its release in April this year.

You may have heard the Dublin rockers smash hit single All Works Out’ all over Irish radio or on the new Discover Ireland advert, the official video starring Amy Huberman and Paul Ronan has gone viral on Youtube.

The band have gigged their way from Dublin to Delhi with a stop-off in Pilton to slay the Glastonbury masses; take to the UK airwaves with all 50 of the BBC Concert Orchestra; collaborate with Jim Sheridan on an update of The Commitments and, last summer, support The Rolling Stones at their Hyde Park homecoming.
