Summer has at last arrived in Dundalk
It has been quite a miserable Irish summer this year but if the weather reports are to be believed then we are set for a scorcher of a weekend that will last all the way into next week.

It has been quite a miserable Irish summer this year but if the weather reports are to be believed then we are set for a scorcher of a weekend that will last all the way into next week.

The weather forecast for the next ten days looks very promising with temperatures as high as 22°C predicted for Saturday and Sunday.

According to Met Eireann it will be dry and mostly sunny on Saturday with only a ten per cent chance of rain while Sunday will also remain dry with light breezes.

Next week temperatures will stay as high as 21°C with Tuesday’s temperatures predicted to soar to sizzling 24°C.

In fact July looks set to be a warm month for Ireland which will be a welcome relief to those sick of grey clouds, rain and plummeting temperatures.

So clean up your barbecues and get the sun cream out of your drawers as it looks like a heat wave is headed this way.
