Nine participants of Operation Transformation held by Aura Leisure Dundalk, achieved great results in weight loss, health improvement and toning.

Nine participants of Operation Transformation held by Aura Leisure Dundalk, achieved great results in weight loss, health improvement and toning.

The eight week program challenged participants and required regular training, weekly fitness classes and commitment to improved nutrition.

Siobhan Shaw and Ellen O’Brien, both the leading fitness instructors for the group, praised all who took part in OT and congratulated them not only on achieving amazing weigh loss results, but also on changing their life.

Josephine Pepper, Aura Dundalk operations manager said that the results were astonishing and that commitment from both the entrants and the fitness team were astounding.

The total weight loss was 65kg / 10st 2lb and 29.2 per cent of body fat.

Seamus Larkin deserves an extra round of applause as he lost a whopping 2.2st and 4 per cent of body fat. Marion Savage, the overall winner received standing ovation and congratulations from participants, aura staff and two leading fitness instructors. Her commitment to the challenge was paramount.

The participants expressed their gratitude to Aura for hosting such a fantastic program and said that the group are all in agreement that they have never before felt so motivated and encouraged.

“We are engaging in exercise and healthy eating in a way that is fun and interesting.

“The support of the group environment made it much easier to push ourselves further than we had thought possible.

“The Operation Transformation program has succeeded for us where other fitness or weight loss programs such as Slimming World, Weight Watchers and independent gym / fitness class attendance failed.

“We owe our success to our dedicated team leaders, Siobhan and Ellen, who have made a massive effort with us.

“They gave varied and challenging classes, nutrition advice, and sent motivational text messages to every team member”.
