The Lights Out Festival will be launched on Friday, March 15 from 9pm-11.30pm, in the Fairways Hotel which is celebrating it’s 50th birthday this year.
There will be a wine and cheese reception and finger food will be served.
Entertainment will be provided by Bongo Billy.
The festival is a fundraiser in aid of the Birches, Crumlin Children’s Hospital and the Irish Martial Art Academy.
The organisers of this event are also searching for a Festival Queen. They need twelve girls to be sponsored and currently have six.
Whoever is crowned Queen will win a trip to Orlando, Folrida where they will stay in the famous International Palms Resort for 7 nights.
They will also recieve a sash, radio interview and their photo will appear in the local newspaper.

On Friday March 22nd the ‘Lights Out Festival Queen’ will be crowned.
Doors will open at 7.15pm and the show will begin at 8pm. Tickets cost 20 euro and there will be a chicken curry supper provided.
The following night, Saturday March 23rd, there will be another celebration which will include a performance by The Long Riders followed by a 60’s Disco.
Tickets cost 20 euro which includes a chicken curry supper. Doors open at 10pm.
Brendan Grace along with special guest Frankie Mc Donald (ex Joe Dolan Band) and Showband Nostalgia will also be performing on Sunday March 24th and Monday March 25 as part of the ‘Fairways Lights Out Festival’.
Tickets cost 30 euro and include a chicken curry supper. Doors open at 7.15pm and the show begins at 8pm.
