The recent St Francis N.S. fundraising fashion and beauty show proved a great success with fabulous fashions from local shops. St. Francis Parents’ Association are happy to report that they exceeded their target on the night and would like to thank you to everyone who bought tickets, supported the event, helped set up on the day and also the models who performed faultlessly.
It was a busy nights’ entertainment, with the highlight being two of the schools teachers, Ms. Donaghy and Miss Clark, taking to the catwalk amongst a host of other models all sporting fashions from local boutiques.
With the help of an audience volunteer Zoe Clark gave an excellent demonstration of how she makes up the stars – Mariah, Nigella and Lorraine Keane to name a few and the raffle tickets were snapped up for a table full of goodies all donated from local businesses and individuals. Goodie bags kindly supplied by Elave and Avon. A percentage of the raffle sales are being donated to Breast Cancer Awareness via Avon for Pink Month.
The shops who were represented on the night were Ozone, Modern Fashions, Brass Rail, Eden, Pulse Pacemaker, RubyNu, Rapport, After Sybil, Lesley Walker Pro Golf Shop and Tony McDonnell.
The Parents Association would like to sincerely thank the sponsors of the raffle Midas Jewellers, Bradleys Chemist, Tony Kierans, Centra, McQuillans Chemist, The Greenmount, Niall Carroll Photography, Diamonds Jewellry, Fuchsia Restaurant Ardee, Eddie Maguire, Bia Blasta, German Salami Company, Tres Belle @ Felda, Elave, Solas Candles, Wogans Furniture, Classic cabs, Danucci Chocolates, Café Aqua, Horseware, Mace Avenue Road, The Strong Room, Rafferty Fine Foods, Lesley Walker Golf Pro, The Golf Club, Paula Kavanagh Photography, Foresight Opticians, OG Consultancy and Deck it Out.
