Readypenny fundraisers raised €8,105 from their car boot sale in aid of Ardee Hospice

The Readypenny Fundraisers are a group of women who came together and decided to try and help the Ardee Hospice Homecare.

The women behind this fundraising are: Margaret Sweeney, Mary Matthews, Margaret Wynne, Noeleen Drumgoole, Dympha Sweeney, and Kathleen Sweeney.

Over the past few years they have raised money for the hospice through these car booth sales.

A special night was held at the Readypenny Inn and the cheque was handed over to Breda Lynch of the Ardee and Mid-Louth Hospice.

“It was a wonderful night,” said Margaret Sweeney. “The Midlanders Showband and Brendan Murphy provided the music and there was a great turnout.

“We would like to thank Michael and staff Readypenny Inn, Country Roots, The Midnighters and Brendan Murphy for providing the music.

“Also, everybody who gave prizes for the raffle and bought tickets and everybody who came and made it such an enjoyable night.

The Mid-Louth Hospice and Homecare service was founded in 1993 when a group of people came together to help families deal with terminal illness.
